We love this accent chest for its color, style, and build quality. However, even though the drawers have metal slides, you can hardly open them. You have to pull real hard on the handle for the first 3 inches or so and then the drawer flies open. The drawer slides are a self-closing style because when you close the drawer it closes the last few inches all by itself. Maybe that’s why they are so hard to open. We did try lubricating the slides but it did not help. The drawers are so hard to open we really can’t even use them.

Love the look of the cabinets only problem the soft close doors are very hard to open and close. I have sprayed silicon spray on them so far hasn’t gotten easer yet. They came put together (I bought 2 ) so not sure if it was put together correctly.
