The dimensions of the desk worked for me so well, that’s why I ordered it. However , I do agree with fellow shoppers on the assembly of the table. The parts don’t fit well expecially on one side. I have two screws holding one side. Returning a furniture item is a tedious thing. So I have just kept it. I expected the manufacturer to read these reviews and should have fixed the assembly part of it. Disappointed!

Smaller than I realized, but sturdy, easy to assemble, great quality, worth the cost.

The drawer came busted, it’s a cheap plastic piece used to keep it together. I had to use hot glue to fix it. Whole desk is very cheaply made and the quality is not great. Metal pieces for the back are very flimsy as well. On the plus, It looks very nice and is easy to put together.

This writing desk is great! Easy to put together and looks like it does in the picture. I would buy it again if I needed too.

GORGEOUS table for our daughters room. Perfect for her “BoHo” style!

Its nice looking and was easy to put together except the one small piece of wood on the gold leg was broken, so I had to do some extra repair work in order to get it reattached to the leg frame. Luckily, its on the inside portion, so the outside wasn’t damaged.

Ok, I never write long reviews but this time I do. Maybe it benefits some of you.
My opinion: Only buy this thing if you can build and/or repair furniture! I really like the design of this desk and I chose it because it offers more depth than most smaller desks. Good for computer work.
After spending many hours to combine TWO of these shipments into ONE desk though I wasn‘t sure if I should give one star at all. My worst furniture experience ever! The long story long:
The first desk arrived with a lot of damaged parts, many loose screws and dents and scratches in the metal frame. The cheap plastic brackets in the drawer were both broken, the lipping on many particle wood parts is attached so poorly that—because it is dark wood—the manufacturer just covered the light damages and gaps by smearing them over with a black marker. Even after quite some adjustments the drawer in the middle does not really sit in the middle of the table, the gap on the left was 1-2 mm, the one on the right about 7 mm. Doesn’t sound like much but looks awful. I put cardboard strips behind the slide on one side to even that out a bit. Means: disassembling everything.
In one of the photos you’ll see the poor engineering. The side parts are attached to the desk top part by for bigger bolts on each side but while you really have to fasten them to a sufficient degree all you really do is bend the wood while you tighten them up—because of a gap between the wooden panels that is about 6-7 mm wide (!) If you really want to buy this desk look for nuts you can put into that gap between the wooden boards. This way you don’t have to distort this funny construction (see photo). I designed and built furniture myself and have no understanding for something that’s not thought through at all.
I close with a commendation though: the lady from Barwefurniture’s customer service was absolutely nice. She did an awesome job and initiated instantly the shipping of a replacement desk once she saw the photos. Thanks again for that!
And one last positive thing about this desk: if you accept going through a hell of repairs and adjustments you might eventually end up with a piece of furniture that’s poorly made but beautiful. Get ready for trouble though!

Looks ok . The reason I’m giving only one star it’s because the draw it was broken.
