I purchased this item based on its overall dimensions. I needed drawers to fit within some built-in cabinetry in an 8-yr old boy’s room. The unit fits nicely; but the drawers are very shallow. I would have preferred there only be drawers so they’d be a bit deeper. We used it for his socks for a few weeks until we gave up on utilizing that space and bought a larger unit. Now this item is being used for crayons, markers and other similar low-profile items.
